This lovely Australian Castledale wool originates from the Beersheba Farm in Victoria. Castledale is a line of sheep that they are developing specifically at Beersheba Fam and the wool has been rated at 25 - 27 micron, but feels much lower. It is a delightfuly soft and slightly springy fibre with a beautiful pearlescent lustre. As it is soft and easy to handle, I would recommend thing fibre for anyone from a novice to an experience spinner.

Colours achieved using professional acid dyes and dyeing occurs in a kitty friendly home, although all care is taken to keep the yarns away from the fluffy menaces.

Please note – Whilst Pickle and Co Fibres has made a concentrated effort to accurately reflect the colour of the yarn on offer via photography and description, there still may be some minor variability with colours between computer monitors and individual perception.
