Hand Thrown Yarn Bowl - No. 10

This is a yarn bowl that has been thrown and carved by myself in a high-fire grey, speckled stoneware clay.

The glaze is a blend of dark green and brown on the outside and a shino (white/off white with brown speckles) and brown on the inside.  There are 4 holes for your knitting needles or crochet hooks, and the obligatory opening for your working yarn.

The weight of this bowl is 1015 grams, height 7cm and width 18cm.  It will easily fit a large ball of yarn in it  (the skein of yarn pictured is 100grams and not included).   The bottom of the bowl has been left slightly heavy to help with stabilization when using it.

Please be aware that this is a hand made item and, as I am a novice potter, it is not perfect but completely unique and still made with love and joy!

Please note – Whilst Pickle and Co Fibres has made a concentrated effort to accurately reflect the colour of the yarn on offer via photography and description, there still may be some minor variability with colours between computer monitors and individual perception.
