Hand Thrown Yarn Bowl - No. 13

This is a yarn bowl that has been thrown and carved by myself in a mid-fire stoneware clay.

The glaze is a rusty brown colour with an overlay of a light coloured glaze that has split beautifully.   There are 4 holes for knitting needles or crochet hooks, and the obligatory opening for your working yarn.

The weight of this bowl is 845 grams, height 7cm and width 17.5cm.  It will easily fit a large ball of yarn in it  (the skein of yarn pictured is 110 grams and not included).   The bottom of the bowl has been left slightly heavy to help with stabilization when using it.

Please be aware that this is a hand made item and, as I am a novice potter, it is not perfect but completely unique and still made with love and joy!

Please note – Whilst Pickle and Co Fibres has made a concentrated effort to accurately reflect the colour of the yarn on offer via photography and description, there still may be some minor variability with colours between computer monitors and individual perception.
