Hand Thrown Yarn Bowl - Redraku Collaboration Bowl No. 1

This is a yarn bowl that has been thrown and carved by myself in a high-fire grey, speckled stoneware clay.  It has then been decorated and glazed by Ally from Redraku, a local Redcliffe pottery business, making this a special and unique collaboration piece!

There are 4 holes for your knitting needles or crochet hooks, and the obligatory opening for your working yarn.

The weight of this bowl is 1120 grams, height 8.5cm and width 17cm.  It will easily fit a large ball of yarn in it  (the skein of yarn pictured is 100grams and not included).   The bottom of the bowl has been left slightly heavy to help with stabilization when using it.

Please be aware that this is a hand made item and, as I am a novice potter, it is not perfect but completely unique and still made with love and joy!

Please note – Whilst Pickle and Co Fibres has made a concentrated effort to accurately reflect the colour of the yarn on offer via photography and description, there still may be some minor variability with colours between computer monitors and individual perception.
