Handspun Yarn - No. 345

Handspun yarn is always a unique and special skein of fibre! All yarn listed has been prepared, dyed and spun by myself, so you get a truly individual item with no two skeins ever the same. Handspun yarn is soft, squishy and perfect for an accent in a knitting, crochet or weaving project, or for a project all on it's own. This particular fibre blend is from the Aussie Bale Project which is a group of fibre lovers, and is sourced and processed in Australia. By purchasing this you will be supporting multiple small businesses and producers!

This skein has been spun from an undyed braid of the Aussie Bale Project Sock Blend - a mix of Perindale, Down, Merino and a few other wools - resulting in a squishy and elastic, hard wearing blend.  The skein is 98 grams and approximately 40 metres. It has a 2ply construction.  The result is chunky in size, although is thicker and thinner in parts.

Colours achieved using professional acid dyes and dyeing occurs in a kitty friendly home, although all care is taken to keep the yarns away from the fluffy menaces.

Care instructions - Gentle hand wash with appropriate detergent. Handle with care. No excessive rubbing or agitating. Dry flat in shade. Always was before wear.

Please note – Whilst Pickle and Co Fibres has made a concentrated effort to accurately reflect the colour of the yarn on offer via photography and description, there still may be some minor variability with colours between computer monitors and individual perception.
